I’ve been on kind of an 90s game/anime nostalgia kick, and I wanted to draw some thing before bed so here is Lara in a 90s anime style, inspired by “Slayers” and “Popful Mail“‘s styles
This pic was too cute that it inspired me to draw one of my characters the same way, I really tried to make Julie way more rounded, almost like shes being slightly inflated.
I was talking with some friends and I told them how Ken Sugimori, main artist for the Pokemon games, came out with an art book, so we started talking about how his style has changed over the years and I showed them some art from the game PulseMan, a game Game Freak made before they worked for Nintendo.
And yay for traditional medium again
Just a sketch I did last night, I’ve had this idea of Sailor Moon in sort of a Mega Man style for awhile now, I’m pretty sure i was inspired by some of ryanjampole’s pics . I also drew this to break in some new mechanical pencils I’m trying out for drawing. I mighty try and color this at some time, but if I do i think I will give her a happier expression.
I was in the mood to draw some MegaMan Volnutt, he has to be the hardest version of MegaMan to draw, probably do to how angular and clunky hes armor is
I have seem girls and women around wearing leggings and I thought that maybe Emily might look good in them, i dunno why but i also wanted to draw this in my crappy “Paper Mate Flair” pens, this turned out pretty good though her arms might be a little long
After seeing the recent Smash Bros vid I was reminded of how I like Keldeo’s design. It kind of looks like some thing Osamu Tezuka would draw. Also i rarely draw horse like animals, sorry i aint no Brony, so it was fun to draw this character
It feels like its been forever since i drew Mega Man. I think this is one of the best pics I’ve done of him, its his helmet that gives me the most trouble but it came out pretty good here
